This is the first year that Star Wars Galaxies plays a major role in the annual SOE Fan Faire, and we want to see you there! What is Fan Faire?

The SOE Fan Faire is a Sony Online Entertainment sponsored event where players meet one another as well as many of the more prominent SOE personalities. There's no better opportunity to meet the real people behind the characters and the game.

Attendees mingle with one another, make new friends, and participate in a number of panel discussions and game-themed live events only at the SOE Fan Faire!

Star Wars Galaxies Activities

There are many exciting events planned for Star Wars Galaxies players at this year's Fan Faire! This is your opportunity to meet other Star Wars Galaxies players, chat with Lead Designer Thomas "Blixtev" Blair and other members of the team, join us for a SWG community gathering to give us your feedback, and more.

Join the Star Wars Galaxies teams from Sony Online Entertainment and LucasArts for a discussion on all things related to the game at Fan Faire! The Star Wars Galaxies team will share exciting new information with the attendees firsthand at the gathering. The team will also answer your questions and comments about the game we all love.

If you've ever wanted to go on an adventurous quest in real life, Fan Faire is your chance. Fan Faire features Star Wars Galaxies live quests where you and your friends must meet various challenges head-on. Teams are limited to ten, so start planning with your player association now! With teamwork, knowledge of Star Wars Galaxies, and a bit of skill, you and your friends can complete the tasks set before you. You might even meet a stormtrooper or two along the way!

A number of Star Wars Galaxies related panels are also scheduled for Friday and Saturday during Fan Faire. The panels will cover a variety of topics about the game design and development, and offer players a chance to converse with the development team about their professions, passions, and more in a number of casual discussions.

Players attending Fan Faire will also be some of the first to see upcoming content firsthand! The community gathering and hands-on demonstrations of Star Wars Galaxies give attendees a sneak peek of what the future holds for the game.

The Fan Faire All-Access Pass costs $89.00 if you pre-register online. If you do not pre-register, you can still get a ticket at the door for the cost of your admission package plus a $10 service fee. (This cost does not include airfare or hotel accommodations.)

With the All-Access Pass, you'll get a Fan Faire T-shirt, a special in-game item**, and unlimited access to a whole weekend worth of fun! If you choose Star Wars Galaxies as your primary game during registration, you'll receive a "Galactic Gathering 2007" in-game painting.

You are eligible to participate in the costume contest, forums, gaming roundtables, a welcome reception, grand banquet, game-specific live events and the special poolside party. Please note that you must be 21 or older to attend the pool party and welcome reception, with valid identification.

Individual day passes will also be available Friday and Saturday, costing $39 per day. Each day pass expires at 6:00 PM on that day. A day pass will entitle you to one Fan Faire T-shirt, access to all forums and roundtables scheduled for that day, plus eligibility for selection to participate in any live events taking place that day.
