vista reboots every hour

my computer reboots itself aprox. every hour for no apparent reason.

i hear a fan speed up right before this happens, but temp all look fine.

and it doesn't matter what i do even if i leave it on standby it will restart.

happend today for the 1th time and keeps happening, had no trouble this morning and didn't change anything :D


any idea's :D

i didnt give that advise just ignore them :) maybe reinstalling vista will work otherwise i suggest you ask the activation line for a sollution since it looks like a problem with that :)

registered again via phone this time, and now it says "activated" and haven't had trouble since.

So i guess it was vista's way of annoying ppl who don't register :P

Yeah vista is fun.... not! turned on my pc today apprently it decide to unstall my souncard software :(

tbh Vista is ok, apart from the Nvidia driver issue.
It just is not enough of an improvement over xp to warrant upgrading if you have the choice.
Only thing selling it is DX10
