Ok, so I'm 4444 on my first Imp squad, and looking for the corvette now... I'm 70% confident that I can solo it, but if any neutrals want some target practice, let me know and you can join the party

Since the path to Jedi-dom is getting longer and longer, I've pretty much given that up as my target , which means I'll probably go through all 9 pilot badges before deciding whether the game still has enough variety and enjoyment to keep me there.

So I'll be spending a couple more weeks as an Imperial (assuming I can solo the corvette, I'll be getting triple xp now, so should be able to knock out the masteries in a week or so ). I've bought a crate of droid chips too, so if anyone wants any burned, let me know; commands like weapon and engine overload 1-4 are rather nice. Then when I hit Freelancer, I'll make up some capacitor overcharges too.

The light side (or at least the middley grey bit) is beckoning... but the Imperial uniform does make my butt look so good...

Oh yeah, and the Imperial Ace jacket is well nice too

Earned a new badge last night - *First pilot in KS to solo the master corvette*
Muahahahahaaaaaaa, yes, I toasted that vette on my own (don't worry, little rebels, I saw lots of escape pods, so no-one died! ), and am currently zapping my way through squad 2... 2 weeks or so and I can drop Imp and come back home

Well, yes, admittedly it was quite useful

Actually though, the rebel gunboats have no guns pointing down, so I could ignore them! Basically, I took out the fighters, then missiled the vette's belly gun - once that's out, you can just keep attacking from underneath, and the escorts won't be able to touch you (although the vette did keep twisting and turning a rather annoying amount!) . Then when the vette's engines are gone, the gunboats happily fly on, and you can take out the vette at your leisure

Having said that, I'll still give the soloing a go against the imp gunboats/vette - should be fun

it gets worse and worse! Having finally made it to 4444 throught the ultra hard T3 exit mission in the 2nd Imp squad, I find the T4 exit mission is bugged!! Destroy escorts... so I do, and it doesn't recognise they're dead!! I'll log a bug ticket tonight, but obviously can't go further till it's sorted, and having got this far, I'm not dropping this squad now! If anyone goes Imp in the future to do piloting though, avoid Black Epsilon - more trouble than it's worth!

So once again, it'll be a bit longer before I can drop Imp

Might go join POE guild in the meantime
