Hmmm, I had that once... patcher just never actually did anything. I just rebooted and cleared the network traffic (made sure my broadband hub was rebooted too) and it all seemed fine...
That's a typical IT response, innit? "reboot and it'll work"
I have that too, every so often, you need to re-synch your net connection.
Exit swg, using task manager if needed, turn off your modem / router, and wait 30 secs or so, then turn it back on.. when all the lights stop flashing you should be sorted.
Do a full scan in luanchpad just to be on the safeside.
Installing Windows -> Shutdown trieng to play fifa 2006 -> Shutdown trieng to play Tony Hawk Pro Skaters 3 (cause off nge :P) -> Shut Down sometimes SWG (hmm only when im alone with hawk ) trieng to play The Runaway -> Shut Down
i didnt even try other games....
and with shut down i dont mean: WIndows is shutting down.
Conclusive proof if you needed it that Audies future in the PC industry will be in the warehouse stacking boxes
And Nilky.. it sounds like a memory problem to me. I had the same thing happen to me when I got my PC a couple of years ago, it turned out to be dodgy memory, which in turn killed part of the mainboard. Or maybe you have a heat problem.
Theres a bit of software, or used to be, caleed 3dmark or something like that which benchmarks your graphics card, try this, it should highlight any problems you have, maybe look up the scoring for the card you have to see if its performing properly..
I had exactly the same when I built my current PC for ages (and still get it occasionally) where the memory just gives up the ghost and reboots the machine... highly annoying especially when it then doesn't recognise the chips and I get to spend 20 minutes crawling on the floor removing and replacing them till they work!!!
