General Clean up :P

-Delete any programs u don't use anyways ( u know u have em :P)

-Run spyware removal thingie (ad-aware and such)

-Run a Registry clearer (http://www.download.com/TweakNow-RegCleaner/3000-2094-10262639.html?part=dl-TweakNowR&subj=dl&tag=button) ( i use that one)

-Defrag HD's

And if u want to speed up the start up of windows run MSCONFIG and select what programs u want to start with windows and unselect the ones u don't

If this all has no effect buy a new computer

Bit drastic   If all alas sugested just format your drive and reinstall

And if it runs ok again dont visit all those shady sites again and use a firewall and virusscanner
