Hi folks, Had me phone about 2 months now and all of a sudden it has no Wifi reception, it will connect but show no bars. When i place it near the router ( about 0.5m away ) it gets a full signal. All other device are conencted fine, have tried reseting phone and router, deleting the wifi info and reconnecting, still no joy. Anyone heard of this problem or is it most likely a hardware failure?

You didnt happen to buy a nice metal cassing for the phone? Sounds like reception issues, if you dont have a casing it might be related to the antenna. Havent heard of this before
You can try installing a wifi sniffer (for android: wifi analyzer for example) on the phone to see the signal strengths and channels your router is using. Although you probably will see nothing or very small signals
