technical difficulties :p

Well i roded some new ram (1gb) turns out it didnt work because it was pc3200 400mhh, then my pc just beeps and flashes lights at me... so nor speed for me...but! ill gunna order a 233mhz one :) so... if my pc doesnt die untill then... well ill bug u as always...this post doesnt really need a reply im just blagging on about nothing :)

Normally 400mhz ram auto slows down if you put it in a 233mhz slot and works without  probs. Try looking in your manual what the beeps and flashes mean. They are used to give you a error code and tell you whats wrong

yeah yeah! Tips from martjin who chrasched his pc i thnk 2 or 3 times. (and he wanted to change his ram too ;D)

how old is ure mainboard? that 400Mhz slows only by a actuall Mainbord (1- 1.5 year's old) down.

But put the 233MHz in it. Than it workes good i think. Or another option is to buy a new PC :P

well my mother board muste be at least 5 years old now... and i cant afford a new pc

Its teh same problem I have.. half my mainboard is dead, I am slowly saving for a new PC, but my other half thinks it is less important than paying for the wedding and stuff.. Girls!

i think to get a new good pc u dont have to pay much money. There r good Systems 4 a low price out....

Maybe u can buy a new pc.... good CPU good Mainboard enough Save space at the HDD and ca 1 Gig RAM... U dont need a very expensive graphic card... 4 example

U can put ure old graphic card in the new system at the beginning :D

And u dont need the best things from all.

i think u have to pay 4 a GOOD System wich isnt the newest but new enough ca 300 -350 € if u want more and a bigger, faster and more nicer System than u have to pay a lot more (like me :P)

but i think its possible to get a cheep "new" pc

I want a mutts nuts PC when I get a new one, that wont need to be upgraded for a while.

I usually buy the best PC I can and then keep it going for 5 years or so

oh 5 years.... u r very optimistic. If u want to get a "good" pc the whole time u have to buy every 3 years a new one... couze Software need more and more power and the hardware become faster more powerfull every month..... the technical evolution is very fast... but that mean also that the prices 4 new componets go down as well.

and btw. U cant get a "new" system... if u can buy a componet u can read much reports of new things ;)

the reason stuff needs more power now is due to lazy scripting.

And 5 years is ok.. but that includes a few upgrades along the way.. my current pc is 6.5 years old and runs swg ok, with only a cheap graphics card upgrade and a bit of ram :p

but 6.5 years.. wow... i never had a pc so long :D

So ... sure u only need a new one if u want a new one or if u want that things runs better on it :D

my problem is 4 example (but maybe its a informatican prob) iam faster as my pc.

So he's to slow for me... but doesnt matter. My pc is very ok and if u r lucky with ure than its all ok :D and we dont have realy to descuss :P

blimey, someone paying for their own license / lessons.. thought that never happened anymore.. don't your parents pay for that sort of thing?

well 6 person family with me a 13 year old a 9 year old and a 6 month old baby, i have to pay for swg aswell :p
