I have been gone for so long due to circumstances unforseen but return to you now with an omen of good news, There is an emu called "bloodfin" This emu combines the best of pre CU with lots of NGE content, such as houses and deco, end game content is being added, the loveday event with the ewoks is currently going on, Jedi are hunted by packs of bounty hunters and, in the next few weeks the first aspects of jump to light speed will be implemented. There is an increase in xp gained so that the grind is not so harsh, the devs and staff are very active and work on both bugs, server issues and new content round the clock.
I am currently driving around Lok on a barc speeder looking for the huge hill on which rested the mighty city of Amber Ridge so as to try and raise it from the ashes, with my saber at the ready but I think it may have been taken over by an imperial base, I am truly sorry that I left all of you wonderful people so suddenly and yet this could not be helped, I hope your own journeys have proven more joyful than mine and that life finds you well.
I have just discovered this server myself and upon setting foot on tattoines sandy ground, my first thoughts were off you all and of home, I thought you may like to hear of this server so I have come to leave this message.
It would do my heart good to see you all again upon that hill top.
I tried a few of the emu's and sadly too much of the game I remember was missing, bloodfin is far ahead of them in my opinion, it gets a lot of negative press from the staff of the other emu's but as far as I can see the negativity is just sour grapes, the staff are in game often and have a lot of interaction with the player base, they run random events outside coronet, the increased xp means you can get to your desired profession and get right into the action, even crafting, a gungan head for example gives 15000 instead of the old 4000 (or whatever it was) master artisan in half an hour, if that, then master architect or whatever in not much longer providing you have the materials, droid engineer is still a grind but not much.
Shipwright is in the game and can be trained to novice but as of yet that's as far as you can go, they are hoping to have the jtl basics with their next milestone patch, such as using a ship to travel between planets, being able to land and take off on space stations and the begging of the pilot missions, other things you can do on bloodfin, create up to 16 toons (possibly 15) and have 6 logged in at once, so you can have your crafter, ent and doc logged in running on a macro, while you go kill stuff on a combat toon, the server doesn't have a big player base at the moment, so there is a lot can be made from selling items especially resources as most folk keep them due to being able to have crafters logged in as well as a main toon. Hoth is an actual planet that you can grind things on, the graphics on it aren't finished yet, it's basically a white area, with a couple of shuttleports that you can get to the hoth instance with, this doesn't have the flying section but inside the base has bosses etc, there are a few other planets in the game as well as tons of other stuff that I haven't found or tested out yet.
They have a lot more planned, some server instability but anytime it gets bad the staff are right there to fix it, usually with a quick 3 minute restart, they have no plans to have any server wipes like the swgemu team do and the majority of the player base are very friendly, a couple of idiots but not many.

That's a link to the forum, the emu installer is at the top of the page, norton treats it as suspicious but it's not, norton thinks everything is suspicious lol
I couldn't find the old hill (I never saw the first city that you all had) but have found a nice little quiet spot on lok where I made an outpost called Amber Sands in your honour.
ign is Fitzy if you're ever on.
Have fun.
