A) What are GCW points?
GCW points are points that have replaced the old faction points and are now used to advance in rank within your faction.

B) What can I do with them?
They are used to determine your "rank" within your faction and your rank determines what "rewards" you can buy from your factional recruiters (rewards are "bought" with credits)

C) How many GCW points do I need?
(subject to updated information) you will need approx 10,000 points per level.

D) How can I get them?

1) PvP. you can earn GCW points while you are PvPing. GCW points are accrued upon the death of another player. The system is set up to give the majority of the points to the player who inflicted the most damage. (Deathblows do NOT add GCW points)

2) PvE. you can earn GCW points by killing NPCs of the opposing faction that are within (10) levels of your own. non elite NPC give you 3 points on the average, and elites give you 12.

2.a) if you are in a party with other people of your faction.... you will get GCW points even if you dont hit the NPC. There is not a range you have to be in. I got GCW points while turning in missions at the rebel base while my guildies were killing the NPCs. (not sure if this is working as intended...so enjoy it now)

2.b) this does not apply to space. group members cannot earn GCW points soley by another killing NPC ships

3) Space. currently you can earn GCW points while flying in space. simply attack and kill opposing faction ships and you earn points based on the level of the ship.
tier 1 = 3 points
tier 2 = ? points
tier 3 = 12 points
tier 4 = 15 points
tier 5 = 33 points.

(sidenote.... neither covettes nor the ISD, nor Freedom station give any GCW points.)
(sidenote.... gunboats only give the appropriate tier points... nothing more)

4) Base Blowing.... you can earn GCW points while destroying opposing factional playerbases. (information will change with updated reports)

PvP bases. 1000 points
reported but unconfirmed

PvE bases some reports say 400 points... some say 600.

you must be withing the base range at the time of the explosion to recieve the points. currently it is undetermined whether you need to be in the party with the slicers or not.

I'm a bit dissapointed with the armour, thought it would be a new design rather than just a different colour.

hmm looks pretty intresting to me . Im looking forward some base bashing with the guild


 


and i agree with that they should have designed new stuff not just use a different texture for the "rewards"


 


I like the banners and paintings tho
