Please all vote on wether or not u would like a Redecorated Shopping mall with all vendors under one roof, or turning alien square into all shops creating a shopping sqaure were u can all have your own shop.
personanly, im noit fond of malls as a trader, so ill go for the square ( and as my shop is already in the square) :P and the owner of the mall will have 5 free slots to use 5 small houses :D giving each trader there own deco space

Personally I think voting for one or the other is rather defeatist, and it sounds like downsizing, which actually is going against the current trend of guild/town growth. I think we should be aiming for both in the long run. Removing one of the options will give us less choice in the future. What matters is the amount of overall vendor traffic that the town gets. People land at the shuttle and immediately see the 3 guild halls to their right and will head there automatically if they're in the mood for browsing.
If we close the mall and ask people to put their stuff for sale in alien square, then it also defeats the original purpose of that square, which was to aim for nice shops/mini themed museums that make the square 'prime real estate'. If we close the mall then, instead of prime real estate, the square will become full of houses that just have 1 junk vendor in them.
I understand your point, but does anyone have just one junk vendor? As it stands if someone has just one junk vendor, then its either in the mall or in their own house. If someone steps off the shuttle and wanders into the mall for a browse, they are going to be a bit disappointed when they find 7 junk vendors selling similar garbage :P ( no offence to anyone whos vendors are in there, mine are too!)
People that have interesting, well stocked vendors, have those vendors in their own home with a nice display. The sqaure just lets us gather those nicely decorated houses in one area to still enable the visitors to browse.
The mall is only any good if it has interesting and well stocked vendors inside, and is nicely decorated. Anything else probably has a NEGATIVE effect.
And I'm partially playing devil's advocate here :P
