You've all heard of the sasser virus strain I presume.

Just a warning here, if you happen to have operating systems that can be affected by this.

If you format and re-install, make sure your internet connection doesn't connect straight away, preferably not connected to computer at all until you have a firewall installed. ignore programs that require you to disable firewall while installing software as it will leave you totally unprotected. Just install them anyway, I beg you to do this else you will be hit like I was with the sasser virus and at least one spybot if not more.

I have cured 12 sasser viruses after a fresh install of win XP, after all said I Urge you to take note cause if your antivirus cannot remove them the only way to do it is in safemode, as they are in the system32 foldder.

I would highly recommend http://housecall.trendmicro.com this is a free online virus scanner and very reliable. Especially when other big named ones fail to find them.

I am installing DX 9.0c now and then going to install swg so hopefully will see ya'll later.
