Perhaps it's your first time with Star Wars Galaxies or maybe you have not been to see a few of these people in while. We are sure you will enjoy a trip to these amazing locations found throughout the Galaxy to visit a few of the many characters you have grown to love.
ˇ Wedge Antilles
Location: Hidden Rebel Base, Corellia
Perhaps better known as "Red Two," this native Corellian is a true hero of the Rebellion. He was Luke Skywalker's wingman at the Battle of Yavin and knows how important Alliance starships are to the success of the Rebel cause. The Rebellion relies on their pilots and starships to protect Rebel soldiers, run important missions and help the Rebellion stay one step ahead of the Empire. Wedge has discovered that the Empire has crippled one of their key operations by confiscating Rebel starships and needs help finding out what happened to those ships! The closest starport to his location is Kor Vella.
ˇ Bib Fortuna
Location: Jabba's Palace, Tatooine
Location: Mos Eisley, Tatooine
Bib Fortuna is known across Tatooine as Jabba the Hutt's personal advisor and majordomo. He can be found in the Throne Room of Jabba's Palace, on Tatooine. Those attempting to do business with Jabba the Hutt first needed to maneuver past his pasty-faced major-domo, the Twi'lek Bib Fortuna. The darkly robed attendant often hovered near Jabba's ear, offering advice and feeding information. Fortuna followed the rules of protocol in the Hutt's court (such as they were), and spoke only in Huttese, though he understood other tongues.
Fortuna's affiliation with Jabba stretched over decades. His career began to unravel when Luke Skywalker targeted him with a Jedi mind trick. The hapless lieutenant let the Jedi Knight into the palace. This precipitated the decapitation of Jabba's criminal organization. Fortuna accompanied Jabba's sail barge party to the Great Pit of Carkoon, where Skywalker's daring rescue of Han Solo brought the criminal empire to a fiery end.
ˇ Boba Fett
Location: Jabba's Palace, Tatooine
Location: Cantina, Tansarii Point Station
Boba Fett can be found inside Jabba's Palace main audience chamber, on Tatooine. New players can find him in the Tansarii Point Station cantina during the tutorial. A faceless enforcer, Boba Fett's distinctive armor strikes fear in the hearts of fugitives. He is a legendary bounty hunter, accepting warrants from both the Empire and the criminal underworld. He is all business, laconic, and deadly. Fett has carefully guarded his past, cultivating a curtain of mystery around his origins. He is in truth a clone, an exact genetic replica of his highly skilled "father," Jango Fett. From Jango, Boba learned valuable survival and martial skills, and even as a child he was proficient with a blaster or laser cannon.
ˇ C-3PO
Location: Hidden Rebel Base, Corellia
C-3PO can be found at several different locations where he will be giving out missions belonging to various quests. C-3PO is your first contact to start the Rebel Theme Park. After commandeering an escape pod and rocketed away from the captured consular vessel, crash-landing on the barren desert world of Tatooine. There, the droids were taken captive by Jawa traders and sold to moisture farmer Owen Lars and his nephew Luke Skywalker. Determined to complete his mission of finding famed war hero General Obi-Wan Kenobi, R2-D2 ran away in the middle of the night, leaving C-3PO and Luke to search for him the next morning.
C-3PO and Luke eventually found Artoo, as well as Obi-Wan Kenobi. This started an incredible chain of events that saw C-3PO catapulted into an adventure beyond his imagination. C-3PO and Artoo were crucial in Luke's mission to free Princess Leia from the heart of the gargantuan Imperial space station, the Death Star. Both droids navigated the complex Imperial computer system to provide the rescuers with timely assistance and status updates.
ˇ Chewbacca
Location: Nym's Cantina, Lok
Location: Back room of Lucky Despot, Mos Eisley, Tatooine
Location: Kachiro, Kashyyyk
Location: Hangar 2, Tansarii Point Station
An immense, fur covered warrior of great strength and loyalty, Chewbacca the Wookiee was a well known figure in both the underworld and in the Rebel Alliance. Born on Kashyyyk over two centuries before the Battle of Yavin, Chewbacca is a wise, sophisticated being with exceptional skills in starship piloting and repair. For both their brutish strength and technological savvy, Wookiees were enslaved by the Empire. For a time, Chewbacca himself was a slave, toiling away for the betterment of the Empire until an impudent Imperial cadet named Han Solo freed him.
ˇ Darth Vader
Locations: Emperor's Retreat, Naboo
Imperial Base, Kashyyyk
Darth Vader is located in several places, one of which is the Emperor's Retreat on Naboo, close to Moenia. The foremost agent of the Emperor, Lord Vader is in charge of hunting down and destroying Rebels wherever they may be. Vader is involved in the Imperial Theme Park quest at the Emperor's Retreat on Naboo, where he always be found. He may be visited only after completing missions for all the other NPCs in the theme park, including the Emperor. Darth Vader is the final NPC in this quest, and awards the Imperial Badge of Merit for completion of the theme park.
Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith, was the scourge of the Jedi, a master of the dark side of the Force, and one of the Emperor's most trusted servants. He wasn't always a fearsome enforcer, however. He began life as Anakin Skywalker, a young slave from Tatooine skilled in piloting and strong in the Force. Once discovered by maverick Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, Anakin was taken before the Jedi Council for consideration for training as a Jedi Padawan. There was some controversy on the subject of his proposed training -- despite Jinn's adamant assurances that Skywalker was the Chosen One spoken of in an ancient Jedi prophecy, the Council was hesitant to allow his training at the relatively advanced age of nine. After the death of Qui-Gon Jinn, who met his end at the hands of the Sith apprentice Darth Maul, the Council finally relented and agreed that Anakin should be trained, He was assigned to the care of Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jinn's own Padawan. Kenobi recklessly thought that he could be as skillful a master as Yoda. His miscalculation had dire consequences for the galaxy.
ˇ Emperor Palpatine
Location: Emperor's Retreat, Naboo
Location: A hologram of him in the basement of a Keren (Naboo) guildhall.
As a politician in the Old Republic, Emperor Palpatine gained political power using the corruption of the Galactic Senate as a springboard for his own goals. Using his political savvy, he gained control of the Senate and promised to restore the order of the galaxy. He is now the supreme head of the Empire, and oversees all planets under Imperial control. Widespread resistance to his rule has recently erupted into a full-scale Galactic Civil War. The Emperor may always be found at his retreat on Naboo, close to Moenia. Access to him is granted through the Imperial Theme Park, of which he is a primary quest giver.
Palpatine was the supreme ruler of the most powerful tyrannical regime the galaxy had ever witnessed, yet his roots are extremely humble, traced back to the peaceful world of Naboo. Before his rise to power, Palpatine was an unassuming yet ambitious Senator in the Galactic Republic, who saw the Republic crumbling about him, torn apart by partisan bickering and corruption.
ˇ IG-88
Location: Nym's Factory Compound, Lok
Relics from the Clone War era still exist, such as the battered assassin droid known as IG-88. The tall, cylinder-headed and heavily-armed mechanical bounty hunter responded to Darth Vader's call to capture the Millennium Falcon during the events surrounding the Battle of Hoth.
Nym's Factory Compound, where you encounter the infamous bounty hunter IG-88, is a deceptively simple instance that will wipe your entire group in three seconds flat if you're not completely on your toes.
ˇ Jabba the Hutt
Location: Jabba's Palace, Tatooine
Jabba Desilijic Tiure, or simply Jabba the Hutt, is a Hutt crime lord, who runs a large criminal empire in the Outer Rim Territories from his palace on Tatooine. A loathsome slug of a gangster, Jabba was the preeminent kingpin of crime in the Outer Rim Territories. Basing his operations out of Tatooine, this Hutt has his pudgy fingers in a number of lucrative and unsavory rackets -- slavery, gunrunning, spice-smuggling, extortion and more.
Jabba's physical appearance is as repulsive as his decadence. A hefty Hutt, Jabba resembles a worm-like slug, with a legless, tapered body coated in slime. A wide, drooling toothless grin split his flat face, and two yellow-red reptilian eyes stare covetously from his immense head. Jabba surrounds himself with the shiftless dregs of society, ensuring his protection with a screen of henchmen and hired guns.
ˇ Obi-Wan 'Ben' Kenobi
Location: Mustafar
Note: Obi-Wan Kenobi's Force Ghost is in the third expansion, Trials of Obi-Wan.
While you cannot find Obi-Wan Kenobi in the flesh, if you have the Trials of Obi-Wan expansion, you can visit his Force spirit on Mustafar. There, you can complete several quests and in the end decide whether to betray him or join him. You can also venture to his homestead on Tatooine, which is guarded by Tusken Raiders. The time frame for the game is after the events that take place in the classic trilogy episode, A New Hope, during which Obi-Wan Kenobi perished in his final duel with Darth Vader. His home is also part of the legacy quest series, where you have to retrieve a worn bag outside his house.
A dedicated and legendary Jedi Knight, Obi-Wan Kenobi had a long and tumultuous career that has helped shape the fate of an entire galaxy. When he was 25 standard years old, he was caught up in the important events of the Battle of Naboo. For over a decade Obi-Wan guided young Anakin Skywalker on the path to Jedi Knighthood. Having to guide and rein in an adventure-seeking youth made Obi-Wan wise -- and cynical -- beyond his years. True to his role, Obi-Wan recognized both Anakin's strengths and weaknesses, and he tried to impart his lessons with the patience and understanding that his mentor, Qui-Gon, did.
ˇ Princess Leia Organa
Location: Hidden Rebel Base, Corellia
Location: Rebel Outpost, Endor
Location: Abandoned Rebel Base, Dantooine
Location: Small farm house on Lok, at -4752, 3516
Location: Small rebel camp on Dathomir
Princess Leia Organa appears at several locations, giving out mission belonging to a larger quest line. Leia is your fourth contact at the Hidden Rebel Base on Corellia. You can find her upstairs in the command center. She can be found on the second floor at (/wp -6812 5558 Leia Organa). Leia is also found in other locations, such as the small watch tower on Endor where she is there with a few Rebel Troopers. Princess Leia Organa Solo of Alderaan (born Leia Amidala Skywalker) is the daughter of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala, adopted daughter of Bail Organa and Queen Breha of Alderaan, and the younger (by a few minutes) twin sister of Luke Skywalker. She married Han Solo and became the mother of their three children, Jaina, Jacen and Anakin Solo.
One of the most important figures in the Galactic Civil War and the New Republic, she could have been simply another galactic denizen like her brother had she not been adopted by Bail Organa. Politician, fighter, and spy was the path that awaited her instead. She has a forceful personality and bright intellect, having accomplished much in her youth: she was a strong proponent for the Rebel Alliance, the youngest Senator ever of the Galactic Empire at eighteen standard years of age, and a member of the Royal Family of Alderaan.
ˇ R2-D2
Location: Hidden Rebel Base, Corellia
Location: Side room to Hanger 2, Tansarii Point Station
A resourceful, spunky and adventurous astromech droid, R2-D2 has saved the day time and again. His little .96-meter tall frame is packed with all sorts of tool-tipped appendages that make him a great starship mechanic and computer interface specialist. It's his bravery, however, that has made him an invaluable asset to his owners and friends. R2-D2 comes from the peaceful world of Naboo, where he and a team of astromechs served the elected monarch aboard her Royal Starship. When the greedy Trade Federation invaded Naboo, Queen Amidala rushed away from her world and ran afoul of a blockade. When the Royal Starship sustained damage to its shields, it was R2-D2 who repaired the ship, allowing it to escape into hyperspace. The droid used his magnetized rollers to cling tenaciously to the chromed surface of the ship while deadly turbolaser blasts rained overhead. For his courage, Artoo was personally thanked and recognized by Queen Amidala.
In the opening scenes of Star Wars: A New Hope, R2-D2 and C3-P0 escaped from a Rebel ship under Imperial attack. Crash landing on Tatooine, the robots were first captured by Jawa traders, and then sold to Owen Lars, to work on his moisture farm. R2-D2 ran away in order to complete the secret mission given to him by Princess Leia Organa, to deliver a message to Obi-wan Kenobi. Threepio and Luke eventually found Artoo, as well as Obi-Wan. This started an incredible chain of events that culminated in the Battle of Yavin. Artoo and Threepio were crucial in assisting Luke spearhead a rescue mission to free Princess Leia from the heart of the gargantuan Death Star. R2-D2 navigated the complex Imperial computer system to provide the rescuers with timely assistance and status updates.
Once Artoo returned to the Rebel base with the newly liberated Princess Leia, Rebel Alliance technicians downloaded the Death Star schematics from his memory banks. From these, they were able to pinpoint a flaw in the station's design that could be exploited for explosive results. A small thermal exhaust port allowed access to the Death Star's sensitive reactor core; if hit with a precise proton torpedo volley, the entire station could be destroyed. The Alliance launched all available starfighters in an attack on the station. Luke Skywalker piloted an X-wing fighter and R2-D2 served as his on-board astromech, much as he did for Luke's father a generation earlier. Although Artoo sustained some damage in the attack, Luke successfully destroyed the station. Artoo was refurbished in time for the celebration of the Rebel victory.
ˇ Luke Skywalker
Location: Temple of Exar K'un, Yavin IV
Luke Skywalker can be found at several different locations, where he will give out missions belonging to various quest lines. Luke will always be found standing outside the Temple of Exar Kun on Yavin IV, as the final part of the Rebel Themepark quest. Son of Anakin and Padmé Skywalker, young Luke Skywalker was raised on the planet of Tatooine, on his Uncle Owen's moisture farm in the Dune Sea. His only dream was to escape the dusty planet and become a famous pilot. That dream would not have come true if his Uncle had not purchased R2-D2 and C-3PO from some Jawas.
After his uncle Owen purchased R2-D2 and C-3PO, Luke's life changed forever. Claimed to have been owned by Obi-Wan and that it had a message for him, Artoo ran away. While searching for Artoo in the Jundland Wastes, Luke ran into Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi. Luke, realizing that the Galactic Empire would also be after the droids, raced back to the moisture farm, only to discover it burned to the ground, along with the remains of his Aunt and Uncle. After that, Luke decided to follow the path of the Jedi Knight and escorted Ben and the droids to Mos Eisley Spaceport. Together they found a transport to take them off planet, destined for Alderaan. Arriving to find the planet destroyed, Luke went on to join the Rebel forces.
As part of a 30 man team of fighter pilots, Luke took part in the attack of the Death Star and made a mark for himself through several actions as the battle went on. As the Rebel Fighters first entered the Death Star's trench that led to the vulnerable exhaust, Luke was a wing man on the assault. After his wing leader was killed, he made another pass at the port and followed the advice of Obi Wan's spirit to "Use the Force," before launching the torpedos that destroyed the massive station. Many more momentous events awaited Luke as time went by, and his name will be remembered as much more than just a Rebel Pilot...
ˇ Han Solo
Location: Nym's Cantina, Lok,
Temporarily found on Yavin IV as part of Empire Day
Location: Back room of Lucky Despot, Mos Eisley, Tatooine
Location: Hangar 2, Tansarii Point Station
Han and his Wookiee first mate and co-pilot Chewbacca had a variety of adventures throughout their long careers as smugglers. By hanging out on the fringe of galactic society, Solo not only made useful allies, but powerful enemies. Han eventually met up with a young gambler named Lando Calrissian. After a period of adventuring, Han won Lando's freighter, the Millennium Falcon, in a heated sabacc game. Han is overly confident, arrogant and possesses a wry, sarcastic wit, accompanied by a reckless manner. This often gets him into predicaments that only his foolhardy courage can get him out of. Han is well experienced as a pilot, and claims to have traveled from one side of the galaxy to the other. For a time, Solo didn't believe in the Force, attributing its effects to simple luck. Han is pragmatic, some would say mercenary, and his personality often conflicts with Leia's idealism. Despite such conflicts (or perhaps because of them) the two eventually fell in love.
Help Han Solo reconcile himself with Nym so that he can convince the crime lord to aid the Rebel Alliance. You will be given a waypoint to a location near the Blood Razor Camp. The actual camp can be found at (/wp -6483 3889 Blood Razor Camp). The six crates of munitions are spread throughout the camp. If, at the height of his smuggling days, you told Han Solo that he would be a hero of the Rebellion, fall in love with an Alderaanian princess, and become a general in the Alliance, he would have had no shortage of smart remarks for you. But if anything is consistent in Solo's life, it is unpredictability.
ˇ Watto
Location: Mos Espa, Tatooine at -2893 2428.
The shrewd and gruff proprietor of a junk shop in Mos Espa, Watto is a crabby, unshaven Toydarian with a love of credits and gambling. Although considered one of the smaller shops of Mos Espa, Watto's junkyard was nonetheless a treasure trove of discarded machinery and spare parts.
Among Watto's possessions were the slaves Anakin and Shmi Skywalker. Having won them from Gardulla the Hutt in a Podracing bet, Watto put them both to work in his shop. Young Anakin showed an incredible talent for machinery repair, and Watto took a shine to the boy. Even though he was unscrupulous enough to keep a slave, Watto was a fair master. It most probably had to do with the fact that the boy was a prime source of income for Watto in keeping his machinery running, but also actually competing for Watto in the Podraces.
