General Grievous Wheel Bike

One
of the most famous and recognizable forms of ground transport in the
galaxy, the Tsmeu-6 is best known as the vehicle used by General
Grievous during the Clone Wars. Now you too can roll in style, as this
wheel-bike is now available in Star Wars Galaxies!

How to get YOUR General Grievous Wheel Bike:

New
and existing players can get their very own General Grievous Wheel Bike
on STEAM today-act now, while they are on special! Click on the image
at the end of this article for more information.

From the Movies:

When General Grievous's droid army on Utapau was uncovered by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi,
the Separatist general attempted to escape in a wheel bikea
hoop-shaped rolling vehicle equipped with mechanical legs that could be
used in a walking mode. The leaping capabilities of these legs proved
useful in navigating the cliffs and crags of the cavernous Utapau
terrain.

Believing that stopping Grievous could bring an end
to the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan was relentless in his pursuit of the cyborg
general. The Jedi gave chase to the Tsmeu-6 astride a giant Utapaun
dragon named Boga. Kenobi was able to keep pace with Grievous and leapt
aboard the wheel bike, grappling to wrest control away from the
general. The bike careened out of control, spilling its occupants onto
a nearby landing platform before tumbling into the abyss of the
sinkhole.

Background:

General
Grievous' rolling twin-wheel conveyance was a product of automated
factories transforming raw Utapaun materials into war machines. Their
construction was based on technologies devised for the hoop-wheeled
hailfire droids used by the InterGalactic Banking Clan. Wheel bikes are
well suited for the awkward Utapaun terrain.

Designed by the
Z-Gomot Ternbuell Guppat Corporation in the Zug system, the Tsmeu-6
derives its stability from the gyroscopic effect produced by massive
counter-spinning internal chains that drive the wheel. The chain-links
feature built-in capacitors that store reserve energy to power the legs
as well as the double blaster assembly that sits opposite the control
chair.

Flexible claws help the wheel bike secure purchase, providing a smooth and stable ride on steep surfaces.

While researching Star Wars
reference images, Dev_yAR came across the General Grievous Wheel Bike
and thought it was an amazing vehicle. When asked for a suggestion for
the STEAM SWG COA Premium Plus Pack purchase reward, she knew that
players love getting new vehicles and would really jump for the idea
of being able to get a two-seater vehicle that could actually jump! It
was the perfect fit. Everyone agreed. Dev_yAR used the video clip from Star Wars (tm) Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (tm) to
model the animation. Dev_yAR and AdeptStrain were impressed by the
vehicles ability to fly and jump. Together they were able to get it to
jump in the game. Some team members also suggested adding a passenger
seat so you and a friend could enjoy the ride together. The end result
was one cool shared ride.
