It's normal, Took me about 3 weeks to get broadband :(
Well, look at the bright side. Took me (well.. our) town like a year to get ours. (Yes, Dad was really mad at me due to his phone bill, hee hee! ) I don't know the reason to why, but I guess those who wait for something "good" never waits too long like a saying says.

hehe well perhaps its normal :) but considering i already have a broadband conection just switching providers so all they have to due is drop off there cable modem and i'm set guess it takes a week,
