Ok, actually it's cos Geocities has an hourly/daily/weekly/monthly (can't remember which) download limit on each site, so if there's lots of pictures on the site, it'll use up your allotted data limit quicker. Think it should be about 2GB, but since I can't remember what timeframe that's in, doesn't help you much It's a weird , but hey, we're using their free space, so can't really complain
lol, oke thx. And.....(oooh u all gonna know now I am a computer dummy) how do I make the size of a picture smaller? from 700mb or kb or whatever to...let's say 400mb or kb or whatever? Or isn't that possible?
Hmm not a computer genius few ideas tho mb no help at all tho :P
If your scanning the pic to pc theres options to change sizes and quility, or could maybe convert to different file type like from bitmap to jpeg or if you have a picture editor program that would probly be very helpful!!
Tho im sure someone will come up with a better soloution or idea than me (probly ish :P)

*Big eyes* Uhh... a picture at 700mb? Ouch... That one must be huge! (The biggest of my pictures is about 3mb, so I think you meant "kb" there. ) but actually.. though I am like the computer engineer in my family (it´s sad, I know.. But that´s what happens when you are the best at computers and such in your family. *shrugs* ) I have no clue how I make it samller myself, more than putting it into a .zip-file. Sorry, Devon.

mmm well pick up the phone next time im not completely clueless. :)
its not a really a HOW do u get em smaller its more a matter of what program u gonne use.
I'm pretty sure u have "microsoft office picture manager"
just open the picture and select the tab "afbeelding"(picture) then select the comprimise command and u'll get the option to what use u want to comprimise it to (mail, webpage, documents) after selecting press save as and type in the name of the smaller pic and taaataaaa your pictures is 20KB if u used webpage settings that is.
Well, the easiest way is to open the picture in any paint/photo package (Paint Shop Pro, MS Photo Editor, Photoshop etc) and find somewhere (usually on the image or tools menu) the option to resize or resample. Should be an option to 'maintain aspect ratio', so just choose something like 800 pixels wide (no more than 1000), it'll work out the height to keep the same ratio, and ok it. Save as a .jpg and it'll be nice and tiny.
