The Corvette (Jabbas / Rebel / Imp)

A guide to the vette from me
I have done maybe 25 vette runs in total, and have only failed 3 times, so I thought I would put togehter a little summary of what to do..

Stage 1: Getting the tickets

Tickets are availabel from the NPC's noted below, you can only be working for one of these people at a time, so you cant get multiple tickets.
Imperial contact are included for completeness, I assume they are correct.
Once you have contacted the NPC you will be given 3 places to search for some documents or similar, only one of the places will hold what you want, the other 2 have useless items, which can be handed in anyway for faction or credits.

Imperial:

Destroy Mission:

Lt. Velso: Emperor’s retreat, Naboo (2405, -3967)
1st - The codes in anchorhead (134, -5349) are found in a container next to the
reb recruiter in the cantina.

2nd - Dantooine - The Dantooine Location is the Janta Stronghold (7197, -4090).
Find the drum near the bottom of the cave. It is in the only item that isn't a
mag-seal container. it is also next to a mag-seal container

3rd - Erran Sif (2143, -5649) on Talus one level on a table "I had to search, it
was directly in front of me as I came into the second room"

Assassination mission:

Lt Sabol: Tatooine, Bestine (-1291 -3539)
1st - Afarah Cave (Corellia)

2nd - Abandoned Rebel Base (Dantooine) (-6676 5557)

3rd - Dathomir (5696 1952) - Document is located at crashed space craft NE of
outpost.

Rescue mission:

Colonel Darkstone: Tatooine, Imperial Oasis (-5321 2702)
1st - Droid Engineer Cave: South face of volcano on Lok, POI. it's at the
VERY bottom of the cave

2nd - Rogue Corces base. Type /target storage to select.

3rd - Woolamander Palace: Yavin, POI.

Neutral: (Jabba)

Destroy Mission:

Bruce McBrain: Jabba's Palace, Tatooine Entrance area (-580 –6220)
1st - Maulers Stronghold on Naboo(POI) (go inside the house there is a room on the right with the 'boss' mauler, there is a container or desk or something in there.

2nd - Rogue CorSec(POI) (I have never had to go here and look, I have always found it at either of the other 2 places, so not sure exactly where it is)

3rd - Dath Nightsister Slave Camp(POI) - In a small cove on one side. There is a
decayed/destroyed container there, do a search on it.

Assassination mission:

Bronell: Jabba's Palace, Tatooine 2nd Floor by Ephont Mon (-5914 -6232)

1st - Binayre Pirates on Talus (POI)
2nd - Naboo, Pirate Bunker (-1507 -1729)
3rd - Canyon Corsairs on Lok - In on of the cluster of tents, I think its the right hand one, but theres only 3 to check

Rescue mission:

Yondalla: Wayfar, Tatooine Inside cantina (-5150 -6588)

1st - Kahmurra Bio-Genitics Lab (POI) on Talus - In Rusty Container at teh bottom of the building, whilst you are here, kill the murra blanca outide for one of those rubbish trophies

2nd - Lord Nyax Hideout (POI)on Corellia - In a bookcase on the lowest level.
3rd - Korgas on Endor - POI in a rusty container at the rear of the cave, worth having an explore though, some low levels ca's to be had from here.

Rebel:

Destroy Mission:

Master Sergeant Crowley: Corellia, Kor Vella (-3404 3092)

1st - Lok Imp base (-1891 -3032) a container inside the fenced off area

2nd - Dath Prison camp -Head towards the prisoners, left from the entry, and there is a desk near where a prisoner is behind bars.

3rd - Roi Corbal cave (Rori, just outside Restuss) in a bookshelf on the second level

Assassination mission:

Pashna Starkiller: Corellia, Bela Vistal (6772 -5697)

1st - Geonosian Cave - not sure exactly where, have only had to go here for it once, and then I was too busy trying not to die to notice

2nd - Fort Tusken if you enter the caves below the fort (through the entry outside, not through the fort itself) there is a container not too far in.

3rd - Mokk Village (-7065 -3326) My favourite, lots of crazy Mokk mo-fos's, you are looking for a damaged metal drum.

Rescue mission:

Adar Tallon: Corellia, Tyrena (-5448 -2674)

1st - The Warren - There is a table in the 1st big room, the documents are located here

2nd - At the crash site on Lok - A crate in a small room (3658 2185).

3rd - Dathomir Prison - The storage crate in the cell buildings.

Return to the NPC with 1, 2 or 3 documents and get your ticket as a reward, you will get faction for the other 2 items (rebel and imperial) and credits for the jabba ones, but to be honest once you find the thing you are looking for your better off heading back anyway.

Stage 2.1 - Destroy Mission

In order to complete the mission you need to do the following things;

1.) Get the Codes
2.) Unlock the elevator
3.) Set the Fuel
4.) Set the Hyper Drive
5.) Set the Engines
6.) Get the Hell off the ship

As is common to all 'vettes, you have 60 minutes to complete your mission.

Getting The Bridge Code....

from the starting room (also the room you clone in), make the first right, take it to the junction, make a left to the elevator, take it up, make the first right, open the chest in this room to get OPERATIONS DISK #4.
Take the elevator back down, go straight across into the "computer room" in the far right corner is a computer, use the disk to restart it, then
use the computer again to obtain the Bridge Code (write it down, it is displayed as a sytem message, and / or repeat the code in groupchat so everyone knows what it is)

Unlock the elevator (this is the proper way, there is a quick way too, but I will cover this later).......

From the clone room, straight ahead, tkae the 1st door on your left. Take the turning on the right and follow it down to the end, then turn right and enter the door on your left. This room has a cupboard on the right in which there is a defunct droid, retrieve a part from it.
Return the way you came until you are in the passage leading from the clone room. Turn left and enter the lift, taking it down to the next level. Exit the lift, taking the left passage to a T- junction, turn right and follow the passage all the way to the SBD room.
This room has steps leading down to a small antiroom in which there is a protocol droid and an r2 unit. the person who looted the disk fomr the defunct droid must drag and drop the part onto the r2 unit, it will then move into the next chamber and turn off the power to to electric floor, allowing you to enter and 'use' the terminal in the room. This unlocks the elevator control room door. (whilst this is going on you will be swarmed by battle and super battle droids, fun eh?)
Return to the lift and try to regroup there, worste case is to regroup in the clone room
To unlock the elevator.. from the lift take the right passage, turning left at the T-junction. the 1st room on the left has a terminal just inside the door, use it to unlock the elevator needed to complete the mission.

Setting the Fuel......

From the elevator control room head South, following the passage to the end, and the fuel control room, or SBD room 2!
there is a raised platform in this room which houses a room with computer terminals. The one at the back of the room is the fuel control terminal.
The Fuel Terminal needs to be set to the HIGHEST setting.....when it is clicked
a popup will come up with 3 numbers at the bottom,
something like 40 60 80 no matter what numbers come up, always choose the
HIGHEST one

Setting the Hyper Drive.......

From the fuel room, return to the passage and follow it to the end, just before the end there will be a passage on the right, heading NE, enter this and follow it to a circular room with 5 passages off of it.
Take the North passage into the Hyperdrive room, use the terminal on the right of the room to set the Hyperdrive.
The Hyper Drive needs to be set to the LOWEST setting.....you will see a simliar
popup to the one for the Fuel....except this time choose the LOWEST number

Setting the Engines.....

From the Hyperdrive room head north, you will come to a T-junction with a door opposite.
Head left and into the elevator you unlocked earlier. Take the elevator up.
From the elevator follow the passage, taking the first door on the left and heading north to the end of the passage.
This is the bridge, unlock the door using the bridge code you obtained earlier, enter the room and use the engine control terminal (on the left side of the room)

The Engines need to be set to the LOWEST setting.....you will see a similar popup
to the one for the Fuel....except this time choose the LOWEST number

Congratulations, you have just finished the mission, now to ge the hell off this tub!!

Exit the ship to get the badge and reward

Jumping ship.....

Use an escape pod, which are big yellow buttons located in the dark coridoors at the sides of the ship.
If in doubt where to find one, get killed and......

From the clone room, take the 1st left adn the turn left, there is a pod button at the end of the coridoor.

Return to the NPC mission giver to get your AV-21 schematic reward.

Stage 2.2 - Assassination Mission

This is a lot easier post CU than pre CU

There are 4 things to do in order to complete this quest:

1.) Unlock the elevator
2.) Get the Portside Code
3.) Kill the General
4.) Run like hell and get off the ship

Getting the Portside code.....

From the elevator control room turn right and head north, taking the 2nd passage on the right and ending up in a round room with 5 passages leading from it.
taje the NE passage and take the North door into the Portside code room. O the right of the room is a terminal, use it to get the Portside code, as before, write it down and let tohers know what it is.

Killing the General......

From the Portside code room, return to the round room and take the north passage to the T-junction. Turn right and head to the elevator you unlocked earlier, take this up to the next level.
exit the elevator and follow the passage round, taking the 1st door on the left and then heading North.
Use the door code on the door on the left, enter and beat the living crap out of everyone inside.
Once this is done, you have completed your assassination mission, congratulations, you just need to get the hell off the ship now.

Stage 2.3 - Rescue Mission

Basically there are 4 things to do in order to complete this quest:

1.) Unlock the elevator
2.) Get the Prison Cell Code
3.) Talk to the Prisoners
4.) Run!!

As is common to all 'vettes, you have 60 minutes to complete your mission.

Getting the Prison Cell Code

From the Elevator control room head north taking the 2nd passage on the right to a round room with 5 passages leading off of it.
Head north through the hyperdrive control room until you get to a T-junction. At the T-junction turn right and head for the lift, taking the lift down.
Follow the passage, turning left at the end and continuing to the cockpit, on the right of this room is a terminal, use it to get the prison code.
As with the other codes, make sure everyone has it! Only 1 person needs to use it, but you never know who will be alive at any point in time.

Talking to the Prisoners

From the cockpit, return to the elevator, take the lift up and follow the passage west to the elevator you unlocked earlier.
take this elevator up and the follow the passage to the end.
Use the prison code on the door here and enter the cell.
One of the team needs to converse with one of the prisoners in order to complete the mission. This is not as easy as it sounds as you will need to be NON AGGROED in order to do so. Its fun trying though.
When You finally manage to free the prisoners in this way you will get the mission complete message and its now time to get the hell out of there

Stage 3 - Jibbs 'Corvette Rules' and other stuff

Just a few extra note about the vette from my point of view, and a few hints etc.

1.) No area attacks, at all, ever! This includes warcry and all that crap. You will have enough fun fighting the stuff that aggros you normally without attracting the attention of everything else within range.
I realise this means some jedi will have to have an attack other than spin attack in thier toolbar, but don't worry, you'll get used to it.

2.) All comms in groupchat.

3.) If you think you are lost, either stop and wait for someone to come get you or get killed. There is no item decay on the vette anymore, so dying is not a big issue.

4.) You will die! get used to the idea, there amy be odd occasions where you get through alive, but you will probably die, at least once

5.) No running! walk everywhere, you draw less aggro then, don't know why it works but it does.

6.) Dont attack anything unless it attacks you 1st, you may be lucky enough to walk through a room of SBD untouched, believe me, it can happen.

7.) Dont panic, the ship isn't that big, and lahtough everywhere loks the same its actually quite hard to get lost.

8.) Elevator unlock shortcut.
Most of the time you can unlock the elevator by goign straight to the contorl room. Stand outside and the door should open, but you will not be able to go in, look just inside the door and 'use' the terminal that you see there.
This cuts a lot of aggro and time out of the mission, but be warned, sometimes it doesn't work and you will have to do it the proper way.

9.) Don not go toe to toe with SBD's, unless the rest of the group are too. try to concentrate on one target at a time.

10.) Sometimes the SBD spawns are a bit fubar, in that where there should normally be 3 or 4, there are 30, 40, 80, lol. Do not cry to the devs, do not submit tickets, just take the death and go with the flow. there will be plenty of other times where the correct number of mobs are around, and it will be a pleasure and a joy to waltz through the whole thing.

11.) Shuttle departure points.

Imp shuttles leave from the emperoros retreat, Naboo, I think.
Jabbas Shuttles leave fomr the west side of the Palace grounds.
Reb shuttles leave from the Rebel base on Corellia.

12.) try not to split up to much, I know when people start dropping it can be difficult, but try waiting at the clone point for someone and re-grouping with the others where posiible. if you act as a team it really isn't a difficualt place to succeed in.

Stage 4 - Looting the 'Vette

I suggest either going for loot after completeing missions or having seperate loot runs as the extra aggro you draw in the looting can be a real pain somtimes.
I generally agree on who gets the powerplant before we go (if we loot one) and have loot set on free for all. Trusting the group enough to split loot fairly afterwards. This is down to personal choice though.

There are 4 loot drops points on the Vette: 3 Armoires and a defunct droid.

Loot Drop 1:

From the Clone room take the 1st right, heading for the lift used in the destroy mission. This time, after exiting the elevator, enter the 2nd room on the right, there is an armoire on the far wall, loot it!

Loot Drop 2 & 3:

Fromt he clone room head straight ahead to the lift, go down and then take the right passage, turn rigth at the end and take the next passage right. you should be in the round room with the 5 passages leading off of it.
Take the NE passage to the end and then turn right, there will be a cupboard full of SBD's in front of you, which will also hold a droid body and another armoire.
Both of these are loot points.

Loot Drop 4:

This loot point requires The Armory Code

From the clone room take the 1st right and continue towards the computer room (destroy mission) in the left corner of this room as you enter is a terminal, use it to get the armory code. Amke sure everyone knows what it is, blah, blah.

The armoury itself is located...

From the round room, head north through the hyperdrive room to the T-junction.
enter the door directly opposite and use the armoury code of the door in the far left end of the north wall.
Enter the next room and on the far east wall is an armoire.. you know what to do!

WARNING!! these loot areas may be empty, or full of crap, but they will definately be guarded by a lot of SBD's and other mobs.

Stuff you can loot from these points...
Crash & Burn spice (rubbish)
an FWG5 Pistol (rubbish)
a Rykk Blade (rubbish)
Bantha Doll (cute rubbish)
Other random weapons (rubbish)

Your getting the idea I think, but if you are lucky you will loot one of the following... ( I have looted 2 powerplants in 1 trip before, but I was wearing my lucky pants, sock and hat that day)

The AV-21 Power Plant, just so all those schems you will have may be useful.

The Beserker schematic - a rifle schem, dont know how good these are post cu.

The Beserker Stabilizer - needed for the schem? never looted one.

Post Cu the NPC's on the vette have been dropping some nice ca's now and again too, but generally thier loot will be the usual crap, marine shirts are quite nice too.

ok then, I seem to have run out of things to say
I suppose it had to happen at some point.
If you have any quesions feel free to ask, and please point out anything I may have missed in my frantic typing.
