Hey all long time no see was just wonderin if anyone would have a clue about running the game with these spec's

amd atholon II X2 P340 processor

ati mobility radeon hd 4250 onboard graphics card

4 GB DDR3 memory

Its a laptop dont wanna risk buyin it and not being able to run it

Don't know much about laptops, but from the general hardware specs you listed I'd have to say it "might" run SWTOR... barely.

Those seem like rather old specs for a laptop.

The main concerns are the CPU and the Graphics.

*paste from the SWTOR Readme file for system requirements*

 

MINIMUM

OS:     Windows 7

        Windows Vista with SP2

  Windows XP with service pack 2

 

CPU:    Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 2.0GHz or better

        AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4000+ or better

 

RAM:    1.5 GB or greater (2 GB for Windows Vista or Windows 7)

  PCs using built-in graphic chipsets, 2 GB RAM is recommended 

 

Video:  ATI X1800 or better

        NVIDIA 7800 or better

  Intel 4100 or better

  256MB minimum video RAM

  Shader 3.0 or better fully compatible graphics card

 

DVD-ROM Drive: 8x speed or faster

 

Disk Space Required: 30 GB

Personally I would say it will run it but don't expect amazing performance. The Graphics card supports shader 3 and can use up to 512MB of the main system memory, which meets requirements. The cores of your processor run at 2.2Ghz, the minimum is 2Ghz, although there is more that comes into it than clock speed...

If you can afford it, I would recommend getting something specced a bit higher, but if you can't afford it then it doesn't matter either way :P
