The patch was showing as being over 11 GB when downloading from the test server. However, that was due to a bug that was forcing people to re-download the entire client of the game rather than just the 1.2 patch.
So for those who were worried that the patch would take forever to dl and we'd be without out favorite questing partners for a bit, there's no need to panic now!
