S&V Hard Mode Tactics


Put this together for S&V HM, SO GET STUDYING!

 

Dashroode
- Cleave will hit for 15K!! Do not stand in front of the boss!!!
- Knockback is further and with enrage timer, it is best for ranged DPS and Healers to stand next to the rock and get knocked into that. The tanks should tank with back to the generator to avoid the knockback.
- 2 adds in 2 waves will come to attack the generator... they must be killed or generator will fail!
- if lost in the storm when moving, you will get a debuff from the adds (if hit) that slows you down... you CANNOT cleanse it.
- from the 2nd generator it will have some timer on it. It is best to get to the spot and NOT set the generator till 15 seconds left in its life. But, you must place it before 13 seconds left as he will do a knockback. this tactic gives more time for DPSing the boss before the adds come.
- Offtanks "seem" to not get lost in the storm, so they are recommended to move the shield.

Titan 6
- Huge Grenade: This is aimed at the tank and requires a tank swap and tank being targeted need to run away from the group and healers need to focus on him.
- Due to proximity buffs that are much larger... ENSURE DPS is spread apart.
- During the rock hiding phase ONLY 1 Person per rock!
- Phase 2 (20%) - during the soft enrage, random DPS players will be pull in to the boss and need to get out of the flames

Thrasher and Bo Zarran
- Snipers are protected by a shield and takes very little damage until their shields are removed by Thrashers Roar.
- A Mercenary Demolitionist will appear with the 3 snipers. He does AOE damage and should be taken out first. No shield on Demolitionist. If DPS jump diagonally to get to him or cant reach him. Cannot just to snipers until their shields are down.
- A Thrashers ROAR will cause a 1-2K damage... tanks must move Thrasher to the snipers so his ROAR will remove their shields. He will do a knockback just prior to roar, so tank should position himself to be knocked back in the direction of the snipers
- Frontal cone while moving thrasher has to be avoided.....
- You have to kill each sniper group before the next one comes out or a wipe

Operations Chief
- Timer reduced to 6 minutes
- Damage for everything is greatly increased.

Olok the Shadow
- Damage for everything is greatly increased.
- Only keep 1 Assault or Frontline droid in each row as they apply the stacking debuff Packaged Deal to the raid. If you get more than 1 stack of this debuff, the raid will likely wipe.

Cartel Warlords
- Captain Porridge > Vilus Garr > Sunder > Tuchuk
- Captain Horics Spray and Pray is quite deadly in hardmode and can quickly kill someone if they dont move out of it fast enough
- Damage for everything is greatly increased.

Dread Master Styrak
- Damage for everything is greatly increased.
- You NEED to stand behind a tank during the spine skill.
- Enrage timer greatly decreased
