It's a fururistic FPS kind of Halo style, but human v human.
Various vehicles (land and air) are available as are different character class loadouts (medic/engineer/heavy armour/tank/etc).
I've had to switch server to Connery (US West) as the Miller one was too laggy. Also have switched Empire to whatever the Anarchist one in the middle is.
Looks to be quite well populated wityh this US server playable during EU afternoon time.
Just completed the tutorial and had a couple of goes in battle. Pretty much a capture and hold the bases/territory type affair with some good and varying terrain.
All PVP all of the time so it's watch your back as soon as you land.
Too early to tell if I'll stick with it, but enjoyable so far.
Looks like the more terain your faction holds the more resources you gain and the more equipment you can buy/unlock.
Also kill counts, etc add to your exp for levellng up which also unlocks more gear.
