Launcher Update Patch Notes

Updates to Streaming Mode

  • Selecting German in the launcher no longer causes all three languages to download. If you are currently using Streaming mode and playing in German, you can remove the following files from the Assets directory in your SWTOR install directory: swtor_fr-fr_*.tor and swtor_en-us_*.tor.
  • Selecting French in the launcher no longer causes English and French to download. If you are currently using Streaming mode and playing in French, you can remove the following files from the Assets directory in your SWTOR install directory: swtor_en-us_*.tor.
  • The in-game progress bar will now complete to 100% as intended and no longer requires a restart before players can travel off Origin Worlds.
  • Account names beginning with a dash (-) can now launch the game as intended.
  • BitRaider (Streaming) components no longer fail to stop after exiting the Launcher.

Updates to All Modes

  • One Time Password page now displays properly in French.

Please note

This patch can and will take hours to install if using the all new 'updated' BitRaider ST launcher.
Forums are covered in complaints and Biowank or Electronic Arse or whoever is 'running' the show these days is again ignoring the issue.
Is it really worth it just to stop a couple of language packs fropm being installed when they can be very easily manually deleted?

Launcher Update Patch Notes

Updates to Streaming Mode

  • Implemented a fix to prevent unnecessarily lengthy file reorganization and download times for players using the launcher in Streaming Mode. Please Note: Those currently affected by this problem will need to completely finish updating and can find more information in this forum thread.
