Ops guidlines

Eligibility

Before you sign up for a OPS, please make sure you meet the minimum gear specifications, or be close to meeting them. If you do not meet them just yet, let it be known in your post, some OPS are more forgiving then others. (if you do not meet requirements the possiblity is there you will be put on the reserve list.

Also i try and pick a OPS when i post the list for that week, so if you have already done that OPS and have lock out with a Class sign on for a diffrent class/role so we don't get stranded on one person haveing lockout.

Starting time is set in the sign on list, this is useally 19:00/20:00  is the group is not complete at 15 minutes after set time ( same as the max time to be late) the group leader will decide to Cancel the OPS or change it to a easy alternative doable with the then available person, this is to prevent long waiting times  for everyone who was on time.

Basic etiquette:

Please either be in front of the instance or ready to use GF at the scheduled OPS time, but preferably 10-15 minutes before. If you are more than 5 minutes late without prior notice or 15 minutes WITH prior notice, you will be replaced. (if possible) If you know you must be late, please post on the forum to let us know (or tell the raid leader for the run in-game).

If you are continuously late, you will be moved to the reverse list and your spot will be forfeit.

Please:

  • Be geared for the operation we are doing. (for the current (hardest) operation that includes having augements)
  • Be repaired.
  • Bring Stims
  • Have TS3 installed, configured, and be prepared to listen even if youre unable to talk; if youre having issues getting TS3 set up, just ask Mart and well try to help you sort it out. (not mandatory)
  • When we are in a boss fight, please do not chatter on TS3, as the raid leader might need your full attention. You're free to talk during downtime/trash but please listen when the OPS leader requests silence. If you want to add something during an explanation, please type it out in raid chat unless the leader pauses for spoken questions.
  • Be aware of basic strategies, when its your first time doing a encounter ask in the OPS if there is something special you should know.
  • Try to hold going AFK until scheduled breaks. We usually take a 5-minute approximately every hour. (NEW will try and do this)

Operation days

We normally try to have fixed days for operations, each with their own goal.  This isn't set in stone if "the group" decides they want to do something different we just do that instead :). And if you like to do an operation on a different day, just start a thread asking for it, or ask in guild chat.

Wednesday

On Wednesdays we mainly do easier stuff to gear our alts, get achievements or try new roles. This is mainly so we know we are done in time since most want to log early during the week.

Sunday

Sunday's is reserved for the harder events, trying to do the newest operation or try them at HardMode/NiM level.  To be able to do this it is important that we have the best possible group, so here it is important to bring your best toon/role (with good gear of course)

Loot rules:

All blue/green/purpe items are normal need/greed rolls.

Purple items/tokens that are the Current top level, the OPS members can only WIN one item on a need, please greed on the others if you have already won a item, we All need the gear no need to complain about someone else winning it.

If you have one or more ALTS,  and you want the loot for that you should inform the OPS you wish to roll on gear for, if its different from the spec youre scheduled for. As example, if you are filling in as DPS, but your main spec is tanking, you may roll on any tank drops as main spec item. This however means that DPS drops would be offered to main-spec DPSers first.
