With the advent of the next patch, we are going to have the PVP server coming to us, and so it would be a great time to take the fight to the Enemy (The real one. Not the new phoney one, where we all hold hands) and get some PVP achievements finished on the planets. With this in mind, I would like to start the ball rolling in advance. Anyone with a toon, that they are happy to do some planetary PVE/PVP on, please chime in now, so we can see what numbers we are likely to have. Ideally we are going to want at least 8 players and ideally with full expertise (2018) and augmented gear (even if its only the 204 rating). Ideal composition would also be nice. That's a lot of ideallys, but I'm sure we'll take what we can anyway....
Tanks 1-2
Dps 4+ (I'll be coming on my Tactics Vanguard, so we have at least 1 DPS)
Heals 2-3
Anything on top is a bonus. If you don't PVP but want to try it out, please check the guides on the SWTOR forums about your class/spec PVP gearing/augment requirements. Medpacks/Stims/Lube essential ofc. We'll try and do some Group PVP runs to get folks gear if they need/want it. Dulfy also has some class PVP vids about how your class/spec holds up and you may find some useful tips there. Please give it a go and you might enjoy it :)
Remember my fellow Republic Soldiers, that we are the underdogs on the server, so we are likely to take an arse-kicking, even if its through sheer weight of numbers. Anybody who has done solo/small group WZs lately knows just how uncoordinated a lot of Pub players are: no calls, breaking CC, chasing non-healers all over the map while actual healers stand free-casting, and leeroy jenkins ftw! to name a few shortcomings. At least we have the benefit of knowing each other's ability and are coordinated enough, so we have an advantage in that's respect already...
So sign-up to be Imp target-practice! Your glorious sacrifice will not go unnoticed (no doubt, the Imps will have Youtube Vids galore of crushing 30v8 fights: 'Darth Incontinentia spits on you - Lulz, l2p rep scrubs' etc etc. Don't let that put you off- We few, we happy few shall have made our ineffectual stand nonetheless. Lets make Aunty Satele proud (sort of) ...
