Starting today, the Star Wars Galaxies Launchpad has been reconfigured so that it no longer needs a complete and separate installation of the game.
To join Test Center and play the latest game updates, all you have to do is start your retail Star Wars Galaxies launchpad, log in and press the button on the bottom of the Launchpad that says, "Test Center".
Chapter 3 is bringing many exciting features to Star Wars Galaxies and now it's easier than ever to log on and see what's coming!
If you have the old version of Test Center
If you have a full installation of Test Center on your computer:
* The current Test Center launchpad will no longer update previous versions of Test Center. * The current Test Center launchpad will not automatically delete the old Test Center directory.
Anyone who has an old version of Test Center installed, please feel free to delete your old Test Center directory, but make sure to save your character profiles first!
Before you delete your old version of Test Center:
* Your profile directory has information about your Test Center characters. * If you want to keep your character profiles, you should copy the profile directory in the old Test Center folder to the retail version of the game.
Move your profiles folder from: "C:\Program Files\StarWarsGalaxiesTestCenter\profiles"
To: "C:\Program Files\StarWarsGalaxies\ testcenter\ profiles"
(This directory will be created when you log into the new version of Test Center)
By copying your profile folder, you will save any of your custom key maps and settings. After that, you can delete the old Test Center directory since it will no longer be used.

I like the "The Quest Helper window is now moveable." thing :)
For the first 6 ranks, you will mostly get the old items (we didn't want to remove them for you guys) with a few minor goodies thrown in. From rank 7 to 12 there is all new items. This includes a new armor set per faction (not completely new but with new textures and color options), new weapons, a new color for lightsabers, a new vehicle and some other sweet stuff.
You will also receive a new combat ability per rank (from 7 to 12) but you have to maintain that rank to keep the ability. For example, if you have the rank 7 and 8 abilities but drop to rank 7, you will lose the rank 8 ability.

erm, well I would guess this week. All the GCW stuff is pretty bug free and officer seems to be going along fine. Smuggler expertise seems to be ok as well, its just the smuggling system that seems to be more bug ridden than a week old deer carcass. Maybe they will go live with the expertise and delay the smuggling? if they wait for the smuggling to be fixed could be another week or so.
