Cruel finally hit level 90 monday evening.. yay lost heaps of experience over the last couple of months respeccing to different classes, loads of fun lol. After all that I changed back to jedi. i'm pretty much bored again now.
I haven't done everything in game and fighting stupid framerates what ever the setting in Kash, or the point of not being able to continue most stuff solo on Musty, i'm seriously considering jacking it all in.
i'm getting my new hdd at the end of the month finally so will have to re-install the things that are required, I doubt i'll be putting swg back on.. I was thinking about LOTR Online as my next game, no release date has been given so may hold back. From what I hear no pvp in that (hooray!)
Anyway, what ever I decide i'll be on every now and again before my account runs out, prior to installing new hdd. If I change my mind and find something to keep me there then i'll let you know, other than that this will be the last couple of weeks in game.
All my belongings in game will stay on my character/s as it's possible I may return at a much later date who knows.
Take care all those I don't see in that time, and good luck with the rest of SWG life and GW.
Sad to see anyone go, but you cant make people enjoy themselves. Hope you either find a glimmer of hope and stay, or if not that you move on to better things
/council mode on if you do go could you please pack up your houses into your datpad please? Guild halls being a major pain in this regard as they dont pack up /council mode off
As a non pvper you seem to have jumped back into the game at a really bad time lol. What with the GCW step up and averything seeming to be pvp orientated.
It never used to be like that, so what did we do then? There was loads of PVE stuff we used to do.
Musty, Kash, space, DWB, bug hunts, loot hunts, vette runs, roleplay, social events such as parties etc, etc.
Some stuff still happens, with Jib trying his damndest we have the pub quiz and proposed vette runs for this week alone.
I was never a big PVPer, still not that keen tbh, but as you seem to have found out the hard way, the new content (and subsequently what everybody else seems to be doing) involves getting into pvp.
If any of the stuff I mentioned above is tugging at your adventure strings, then perhaps give it some more thought.
I know Jibb gets really frustrated trying to organise events which no one turns up to. I do too.
There are some core few players though (yes, in KS!), who will, if requested, go out and tackle some pve, event, RP, whatever.
For example, you mentioned not being able to solo on musty. That is intentional on the devs behalf, they want people to interact within a community so they make it impossible to solo.
If you request it though, (head to the 'request a quest' thread) there is a good chance a few will turn up, enough to have fun and acheive goals.
