Ok, after our masterclass in killing the Acklay, I'm out for more blood! This time, a trip to Dathomir on Wed 28th Jan to take out the Kiin'Dray (details from Wiki below). I've never been near this quest, so it'll be anew experience for me - if anyone fancies coming along for a laugh, let me know! Oh, and just so you're not put off, I'm no longer a spy, but a LS Jedi tank type thing... I'm just getting started in the whole tank mode, but I think I've got the basics down :)
Kiin'Dray is located at /waypoint -1202 112 6235 on Dathomir.
There are 2 elite NPCs guarding the door. Kill any that are aggressive. On the way down, you may see some level 87 elite spiders. They WILL NOT aggro you, so you can ignore them. You will eventually come across a room with plenty of holes. One of these leads down to a room filled with 7 to 8 spiders (including the Queen).
Kill all the spiders or they will attack you as you fight Kiin'Dray. Kiin'Dray will spawn once you kill the Queen.
As you attack Kiin'Dray, be careful. If you take too long, the spiders will respawn and attack you which may compromise the encounter.
The Giant Gaping Spider Kiin'Dray is considered to be the boss of the Nightspider Clan Cave on Dathomir. This encounter was completed with a group of four people - two level 90, a level 80, and one level 74. None were a medic and the group did not have much trouble.
Heh, I love the detailed data SWG Wiki has on it -
Name: - Bane Back Spider Planet - ? Level Range - 77-77 HAM - XXXXXX-XXXXXX Aggressive - ? Attack - ? Quest Related - ?
Is this one of the Slayer Collection badges then, like the Ancient Krayt and Acklay? SWG Wiki seems to think that one of those badges is for a nasty Nightsister which can no longer be killed :(
Well we (Dr-Mont and I) manged to complete the Rebel Theme park last night with the much needed and appreciated help of Sir Caractacus of Vaarde and Lord Isharra master of all he prevails. Didn't take too long, but that last mission was really quite scary at times!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the help fellas. Will try and be on tonight for the hunts :)

Yes those ickle sickwee pwants were very scary. That Imp Bunker was well hard, but the rest seemed to be just botched together with NCPs spawning repetativly. Still was fun and a great success :) Thanks

Well last night's missions went rather well - 1 group containing KSers did a successful AM followed by a rather less successful EK, another did Hoth and EK successfully. Gits.
We then somehow tricked several people into joining the weekly "Dod & Ish's random kill/wander/die" questline, which saw us comprehensively taking down the Kiin'Dray, Gorax and Acklay, which almost completes the 'big bugger slayer' badges. I thought the remaining one was an unattainable AM legacy one, but I'm now thinking it might be the Overlord at the bottom of the Death Watch Bunker. So, to that end, next Wednesday 4th Feb (and probably some time before as well) I'll 'lead' a group of suicidal adventurers down to the DWB, picking up the 3 (I think) collection items, crafting rebreathers, and ****ting the Overlord.
I notice the latter half of those slayer badges need completing for me. Any idea what or where I need to go to get em? They look like I may need to kill an amount of different creatures. I would like to put forward a Corvette run as our next escapade as many people have expressed an interest on our recent outings. Also we should pencil in a return to DWB sometime for Jibb as he was an orig member of the group, but had to log early.

Nice try son, but you're gonna have to do some of the work yourself
I've added a post in the 'Guides' section to give a quick overview of the Slayer collection set - it's a reeeeeeeaaaaaally long one!!! But I'm starting to go through them now, so as long as we have a couple of people on the same species, we can help each other out.
I think Corvette runs are long overdue, so I'll look at finding my old map and doing the irritating quest to get a boarding ticket in the next few days.
And yup, since we now know everything there is to know about the DWB, we should be able to breeze through it, right?
i thought we said we could do some mustafar quests on wednesday after the heroics of 1 feb. (or some other group outing) but i can be mistaken. Since quite a few plp still need the last few missions done.
Depending on the group size we get i think its better to do mustafar if we get a big group. Since those quests need a bigger group then the corvette does, and we dont get big groups very often. But offcourse if there is already corvette tour its fine by me.
Ah I wasn't on the heroics on Sunday so would have missed that. Last I heard was after we had done the DWB so I could be wrong about the Corvette. Maybe Ish or I (Ish Ish Ish), as founder members of the Wednesday Suicide Run Conglomerate, should start a thread akin to the Sunday heroics one with quest details and half full group listings. Can't see there being any specific roles tho as most weeks we just take whoever is on at the time and hope for the best......even if it's just Ish and I.
Oh and thanks Jibb, will try and get online before or after your heroics complete with hammer :)
